Blueroca Shoe Defence: Shoe Deodoriser & Disinfectant Spray 200mL

I tried this shoe deodoriser to help with odour in everyday shoes. The spray is easy to use and the non-aerosol bottle gives good control when spraying inside the shoes. It dries fairly quickly and doesn’t leave any sticky residue. After using it, the shoes smell fresher and the scent is light, not too strong. I like that it can be used on different types of footwear like sneakers and work shoes. The bottle size is also convenient to keep at home or near the shoe rack. It’s a great product that helps keep shoes smelling cleaner.

We have a certain individual in the house whose shoes smell horrible and grabbing shoes out of the shoe rack was a challenging experience for everyone. This spray did a great job and I can say if you are in similar situation or tired of harsh, chemical-smelling aerosols that just layer perfume over sweat, this shoe deodoriser is a good alternative.The scent is nice, it is light and has a nice fragrance which masks the chemicals well. Its not the irritating, nose stinging punch of some cheap supermarket products. Spray is a fine mist that dries down very fast. Does not leave any residue or wetness which is positive. Have also tested on my running shoes and they dried up fairly quickly. This is a massive plus compared to pump sprays that leave insoles wet.Did a good job at eliminating smell rather than just masking it. Also tested on other shoes around the house and they are all smelling quite fine for both smelly and non-smelly members of the house.Bottle takes a few attempts before you find how to use it. There are two side buttons that need to be pressed and I found after fumbling a bit. Also mist is fine and most of it tends to blow back or drift away. What I did is insert the nozzle as much as I can and then sprayed.Price is definitely on the higher side and consumption feels bit quick. Will have to grab another set once this one finishes and will be keeping an eye on the offers.

Picked up this plant-based shoe deodoriser and it's a winner. You just spray it in, it dries quick, and the smell is gone. Like actually gone, not just covered up with some fake scent. No gross residue left behind either.The smell itself is really nice too, fresh and clean without being overpowering. Been using it on my gym shoes and everyday trainers and they don't stink anymore. If you've got smelly shoes, just grab this. Does the job perfectly.

This is a Melbourne designed product (made overseas), and its always good to see the local companies being innovative and doing well.It smells pretty decent and not the usual hard chemical smell you get with these shoe sprays, its got a hint of botanicals but to be honest still feels like youre spraying some form of chemicals with masking scent.I tried it on all my smelly runners and it did a good job of reducing the odour without stinking out the house with a chemical smell. Runners dried quickly and smelt fresh after.Only downside is that the spray is a very fine mist, and it feels like a lot of it blows away and doesnt land on the surface of the shoe. You can see this in the attached video. So you need to stick it right inside the shoe to feel like you are getting any on the surface. It means you also get it on your spraying hand due to blowback.Other than that this is a nice alternative to the harsh aerosols that are usually designed for this task.

It might be a little difficult to review a product like this but what can I say? It smells nice. I've tested it on my steel capped work boots which often gets soggy from a day's work and from sweating and so far, after a day, it has retained the scent which in itself is very impressive.I am unsure how I will test out its effectiveness in killing bacteria but I am imagining that this advertised feature can be proven by my shoes not staying funky after a few days.The bottle is now sitting alongside all our shoes in the cupboard. And I'm pretty sure it won't be long before I will need to order another bottle as it really does have a nice fragrance that everybody at home seems to like. I love how the spray bottle has a lock mechanism at the pivot point to ensure no accidental discharges are made. You will need to push this to one position in oder to allow the spraying mechanism to work. That's very thoughtful

The Shoe Deodoriser is a useful product to have to freshen up smelly shoes. The bottle itself has two buttons on the side, on and off; but I found it confusing and not very intuitive at first. I initially tried screwing each button in and out, which didn’t seem to do anything. It took me a while to work out how to get the spray started but once I did, it was easy to use.The spray produces a fine, even mist, and only a few sprays were needed inside each shoe. It dries quickly, less than a minute on the outside, although it takes a little longer for the inside if you have sprayed a lot. The scent is sweet when first applied but fades after a few minutes, leaving the shoes smelling clean rather than perfumed. This is better than other deodorisers I’ve used which just try to mask the smells.I’ve used it on workout sneakers and it worked very well at eliminating odours caused by sweat and regular wear, rather than just masking them. However, it was not effective on shoes that had been soaked in heavy rain, even after multiple applications.Overall, this deodoriser is best suited for maintaining freshness in everyday sneakers and work shoes, but it may not be strong enough for shoes with deep, moisture-related odours.

After the first spray I knew I'd love this deodoriser. I used this on my husband’s work boots as the initial test subject and it worked really well. It acts fast, actually gets rid of the odour instead of just covering it up, and leaves a clean scent. I have highly sensitive skin and a toddler and neither of us have had any adverse reactions using or being exposed to this deodoriser.Really nice spray overall, I really like that it dries quickly and leaves residue, so his work boots were ready to wear almost straight away. Easy to use, no harsh spray, neat little locking design by the handle, it's safe on the materials, definitely a handy product for smelly shoes.
